Introducing The Aurora Rewards™ Program!
Aurora Rewards is a program that allows you to earn points when you travel with
Canadian North and then use those points for future travel or for great gift
cards and merchandise! And, if you are an Areoplan® member, you can continue
to earn Aeroplan® Points at the same time. The program was designed to give you
the best value in an airline rewards program so you can take advantage of your
rewards sooner!
So, how does it work?
Earning Points
Enroll in Aurora Rewards for free and you'll start collecting points just for signing up! A 200 point bonus will
be added to your account for enrolling, and you collect additional points each time you fly on a scheduled flight
with Canadian North on a paid ticket.
The points you'll earn are calculated based on the distance you flew and the fare that was paid. This chart shows the percentage
of points you will earn on the distance you travelled for each type of fare we offer.

Aeroplan®
Existing Aeroplan members can continue to collect Aeroplan®
Points at the same time as earning Aurora Rewards Points. In order to collect your Aeroplan®
Points, you must be enrolled in the Aurora Rewards Program and include your Aeroplan number on your profile.
Then, each time you fly and provide your Aeroplan number, your Aeroplan Points and Aurora Rewards Points
will be automatically tracked. We're the only airline program in Canada that allows you to collect in
two rewards programs at the same time!
Using Your Points
You can save your points to use them for free flights (taxes and surcharges are collected when booking),
or you can choose to use them for unique, seriously northern merchandise and some cool gift cards.
How many points do I need to fly?
Just 12,000 for a return Short Haul and 20,000 for a return Long Haul. A Short Haul is a flight up to 625 miles, or:
- Within the Kitikmeot and to/from Yellowknife

- Rankin Inlet – Iqaluit/Yellowknife
What else can I use my points for?
You can use them for seriously northern items such as fishing lures, berry pickers and
Canadian North mitts, as well as select gift cards. For a complete list of items
available, go to

The More You Fly, the More You'll Get!
Not only will you earn more points the more you fly with Canadian North,
but you'll also be earning towards Aurora Concierge status.

Concierge program to include three levels, earned after just 12 one-way flights with Canadian
North, or 12,000 points (excluding bonus points).
Aurora Rewards members qualify for Aurora Concierge by achieving the following levels
in a calendar year.
